I try to get involved in world preservation as well as helping people locally. I think that if wee all do a little, it adds up to alot. I feel as though I have been blessed with great energy and I don't have fear concerning physical endeavors. So my physical adventures like surfing becomes a platform to expand the life experience of my clients. So me and my friend Sabina Madeliner (Peniche Yoga Center), who is an amazing surfer, offered Yoga/surf retreats. The results were amazing. We do yoga and surf everyday, we went horseback riding, which everyone kept laughing at the look on my face, I was so scared and my horses name was Lazerus, Which conjured images of being bucked off into the dirt.. But the point is that on our retreats we explore different sports and visit nearby cities and basically push our limits. A good time is had by all.
I had the great honor to become a Sea Shepherd volunteer. I worked on 2 boats for a summer and the experience was one that I will never forget. Let me give you a peek into a normal day. Wake up, coffee, yoga, morning meeting then right to work. First stop the tool room, Sawzall or angle grinder, hammers, rivit gun, whatever you need to complete your assignment for the day. Keep in mind we were in Key West Florida where it was 95 degrees and 95% humidity. It was the hardest work I have ever done in my life. But I am proud that I did it.
